Ryan began coaching at Villarreal Nebraska Academy in 2018.  Prior to that he coached for Sporting Lincoln and Magellan before coaching independently for several years. Ryan enjoys working with the younger players because his strength is teaching the core technical aspects that set the stage for strong all around players. “What brought me back to working within a club setting, and specifically Villarreal Nebraska Academy, is the ability to work with other coaches that share the same mindset. When you are independent, you are mostly on your own. At Villarreal, when I bring in guest coaches, I can count on the those coaches to add to the curriculum my group is working on and I am confident my coaching is helping players build toward being ready for the curriculum they will receive as they get older. We are all moving forward together.”
